Hello and welcome! I'm Caroline Kellough, but you can call me Caro. I'm here to help you on your journey to healing and self-discovery. Here are some things about me that might be helpful to know.
Education: I have an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus on Holistic Studies from Lesley University and a B.A. in Comparative Sociology from the University of Puget Sound. I also have certificates in Multiculturalism and Human Rights and Psychological Anthropology.
Experience: I've worked as a therapist and founded programs at Desert Song Counseling and Expeditions, offering transformative wilderness experiences. I've also been a Field Therapist and Family Therapist at Outback Therapeutic Expeditions, working with adolescents and their families.
Approach: I'm committed to evidence-based practices and creating a safe space for exploration. I specialize in EMDR and IFS, focusing on resilience and healing.
Professional Involvement: I'm actively involved in my field, presenting at conferences and holding certifications in EMDR, IFS Circle Level 1, and Emotionally Focused Family Therapy.
